Plant Biography

Marble Queen Pothos is an evergreen climbing plant in the arum family Araceae and is native to Bangladesh, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and the Philippines. In its natural environment it is found growing up the trunks of trees or growing along the ground. In the summer, tiny spikes of apetalous flowers emerge and are followed by small berries although this is uncommon when grown inside.
